I'm Jacklyn Rusnock, and I'm running to represent the 126th District in Harrisburg because I believe our community deserves a champion who will fight for our shared values and a brighter future for all.
Rooted in Experience, Driven by Passion:
My journey began right here in the 126th District, surrounded by a family dedicated to service: nurses, doctors, and teachers who instilled in me a deep commitment to healthcare, education, and community. This foundation shaped my career path, leading me to:
· 20 years as a registered dental hygienist: Witnessing firsthand the impact of healthcare access fueled my passion for ensuring quality care for everyone.
· 10 years as a high school dental instructor: Building a successful dental program from the ground up taught me the value of empowering youth and investing in education.
· Service on the Muhlenberg School Board: Fighting for fair funding and mental health resources for our students and staff solidified my belief in strong public education systems.
Leading with Vision, Focused on Solutions:
As your representative, I bring not only experience but also a clear vision for our district's future. I'm dedicated to:
· Making healthcare accessible and affordable: Everyone deserves quality healthcare, regardless of income or background. I'll fight for policies that expand access and lower costs.
· Investing in education for all: Our children deserve excellent, well-funded schools with resources to support their success. I'll advocate for increased funding and equitable opportunities.
· Combating climate change for a sustainable future: We must act now to protect our planet and ensure a healthy future for generations to come. I'll support policies that address climate change head-on.
· Protecting marriage equality and women's reproductive rights: Every individual deserves the right to make their own choices about their lives and families. I'll stand up for equality and women's reproductive rights.

Jacklyn Rusnock has been a part of this community from a very young age from being a Playground Leader to a community Lifeguard. Taking on rolls as the MTAA Youth Softball Coach and now to the Head Varsity Coach for Muhlenberg Girls Softball Team and the Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center's Health Dental Occupations Teacher.

Jacklyn Rusnock has many ways of supporting our youth and letting them know she cares and that she will do what she can to help them through life's ups and downs. Recognizing our growing population of Homeless Students and children of our great state of Pennsylvania.
She is a caring supporter of our Veteran's and their families. Proud to fight for the mental health and their needs for our disabled Vet's.
